MORE ABOUT

Poor Rodeo has come into our care as he was taken to the vets in the Balkans by his breeder to be euthanised just because he is older and no longer wanted – seriously ! so luckily his vets is our vets so they reached out to us to say – he is fit and healthy and has a lot to offer can you help find him a home as we really don’t want to put a healthy dog to sleep !!! of course, we said yes! We can !

Rodeo is just an amazing dog – he loves everyone – loves kids, loves dogs, loves everything and just wants a home where he is loved right back !

General info about our dogs:-

As with all our dogs - he will need time to settle and time to learn – if you want a rescue dog don’t expect to have a perfect dog from the start – they need time and patience, remember he has no idea what you are saying so please take this into account when applying to adopt and understand that everything will be new to him and to give him time, only apply if you want to help a rescue dog into a home and are dedicated to do so.

He may need housetraining, he may need lead training and will need some time to settle so please also take this into consideration before you apply, don’t try to do things too quickly, give him time and a little patience to learn about living in the UK remember they don’t understand you, don’t know who you are and don’t always know how to go for a walk so nice and slow and they soon learn that this is a wonderful place and you are their new loving family, the rewards are great if you take the time, so please only apply if you are prepared to work with him to help him learn about life and experience things for the first time, training is key and taking it slowly she will not know about traffic and cars and loud noises – he may be overwhelmed at first – so think about this before you submit your application. It takes time.

If you have already applied, are home checked and on our waiting, list please do reach out to us.

Adoption fee and homechecks apply.

If you are interested in adoption, please complete our online application form:https://forms.gle/fEBpRPC6dhMgEBfH6

MORE ABOUT DOMINO

UPDATE ABOUT DOMINO FROM HER FOSTER MUM AND DAD

Domino is a sweet-natured girl who although very shy & hesitant, is starting to show an interest in what is going on around her.

She seems to be very institutionalised poor girl - clearly never had a life outside of a kennel or breeding facility but seems happy enough to just go with the flow at present.

She is rather hand shy (ducks & flinches) - heartbreaking to see, is clearly unused to being petted & doesn’t know either her name or even the most basic of commands, we have nicknamed her DomDom - she is happy enough and will now sit next to you - but its going to take some time.

She has a crate for a safe space and seems happy in that at present.

Domino is naturally a very clean dog & if she goes to the toilet in her puppy pen always uses the same spot.

She is learning to walk on a lead but she is not sure right now so she is being carried - bless her -she is semi housetrained but not fully it will take time.

Domino eats well which is great and may be able to use this as a teaching tool.

Sleeps through the night, though may go to the toilet in the early hours.

She is starting to groom herself more now & this is done very noisily with much slurping & grunting. She also snores! which is super cute....

She hates the rain!

Domino had a bath (shower) today & was perfectly behaved & very calm throughout. She seemed to enjoy being towel dried.

We believe Domino will be relatively easy to house & lead train. She will need very calm, gentle handling as she really is a blank canvas & whilst she does not seem to have been abused as such, she seems to have been the subject of some rather rough handling in the past, and has never really been shown love we dont think.

She is a lovely girl & is changing daily, which is a most encouraging sign. She will need a home that has at least some experience as she knows so little herself.

Domino was imported from USA, for breeding as an adult, where she has spent her whole life as a puppy making machine only used for breeding poor little girl never having the luxury to be just a dog. She has only ever lived in a crate, in a puppy mill. Doesn't known how to cuddle or sit on your lap, she will learn, but she realized that she likes toys which is great, and she will follow you everywhere like a little shadow.

This is true rescue this is a dog that needs you a dog that needs to feel that love in her older years that deserves to have the love and that home to spoil her and give her everything she really should have had already.

If you have already applied, are home checked and on our waiting, list please do reach out to us.

MORE ABOUT SWEET LITTLE APRIL

Beautiful little April was rescued from the street just found wandering around all alone no one wanted her or even cared she was there – luckily one of rescue team was alerted and set off to pick her up before she got herself killed

She was not skinny at least someone has been feeding her – but probably used her to have multiple litters of pups and now at 3yrs old shes no longer useful. Makes me mad!

So now this little princess is looking for someone to give her what she should have in the first place – a loving caring home that will spoil her rotten and give her security and make her feel safe.

She seems really good with all dogs and is pretty calm, she loves everyone, and loves life – what has happened to her has not affected her too badly so she is pretty well rounded little girl.

Please only apply if you are serious, she doesn’t deserve to be messed about – she just wants a family and a full belly

Melody

NAME: Melody

AGE: around 4YRS

BREED: Frenchie

SIZE: average for her breed

SEX: Female

MEDICAL: 4d negative, Brucella negative, spayed, vaccinated and flea and worm treated. Melody had some ear surgery in her previous home and sadly has some hearing loss on one side.

LIVING WITH CHILDREN: yes

LIVING WITH DOGS: good with all

MORE ABOUT Poor darling Melody

Poor Melody is such a sweet girl – but she has not had the best start to life, clearly her skin on her nose is excessive skin folds on her nose (not sure if she is bred this way latest craze is it called big rope or something !?) but anyway it can get infected so needs to be kept clean which is simple enough. But it does not affect her breathing.

She also had a serious ear problem in her previous home and had surgery which sadly has left her with no ear canal on one side with means she has limited hearing but don’t let that put you off – my Frenchie is completely deaf and leads an amazing life – Melody has some hearing just something you need to be aware of.

Melody is very calm, very sweet girl, gentle and loving she is smart and loves everyone.

She really is an all-round adorable dog who is looking for her happy ever after.

Remember with most of our dogs they have no experience of UK life so walking on a lead takes time, learning to trust takes time, traffic is frightening and sometimes something they will need time for, housetraining also as they have not lived in a normal inside home situation – please keep this in mind before applying. The rewards are great but you need want to help the dogs in our care – they are wonderful sweet natured dogs but need patients.

If you have already applied, are home checked and on our waiting, list please do reach out to us.

MORE ABOUT LUCKY (because she survived the public shelter)

Very adorable old lady RESCUES FROM THE KILL SHELTER – the sweetest Daxie female small and adorable. She only weighs 6 kg. She is coughing several times during day because of her weak heart as she has heartworm, but she is undergoing treatment and is doing better. We rescued her from public shelter after bigger dogs attack her and made a huge wound on her side ripping into her flank, she has 2 big scars on her body because of that but it has healed well and remarkable she is good with dogs even after that experience.

She really is just an old dog that is begging you to cuddle her, and the whole purpose for her of her life is to sit in your lap and have your attention and be loved and then loved some more. Very good with kids but not kids that are too loud for her please. She is not very playful dog but behaves very well in house, especially as she has never lived inside house ever.

Can you give her a lap to sit on and the love she wants – craves – she never had.

If so, apply today she is waiting! I cant deny she is incredibly cute isn't she

MORE ABOUT Mindy
Mindy is a shy little girl at present as she has not had the best start to life but she is trying to learn to trust humans but prefers other dogs right now so ideally she needs to live with another dog please.
Mindy is getting used to humans being a good thing and will crawl to you for a cuddle but you will need to take things a bit slow with her – and she will need somewhere where someone is around most of the day – that has a secure enclosed garden as she knows nothing of life in the UK and walking on a lead and learning about life for a UK dog inside and not shut out in a kennel ☹ So patience and time for her – but she is loving and sweet and deserves a chance to have all of these things don’t you think.
So keep in mind she may need housetraining, she will need lead training and will need some time to settle so please also take this into consideration before you apply, don’t try to do things too quickly, give her time and a little patience to learn about living in the UK remember they don’t understand you, don’t know who you are and don’t know how to go for a walk so nice and slow and they soon learn that this is a wonderful place and you are her new loving family, the rewards are great if you take the time, but I want to reiterate she has NOT lived in a home – so please only apply if you are prepared to work with her to help her learn about life and experience things for the first time, training is key and taking it slowly – she will not know about traffic and cars and loud noises. So think about this before you submit your application. It takes time.

MORE ABOUT Jodie
Jodie came from the same background as Mindy so is quite shy too and is a bit bewildered right now but is enjoying cuddles and fussy when she is brave enough.
As with Mindy little chubby Jodie is getting used to humans being a good thing and will crawl to you for a cuddle and is doing really well. She will need somewhere where someone is around most of the day – that has a secure enclosed garden as she knows nothing of life in the UK and walking on a lead and learning about life for a UK dog inside and not shut out in a kennel ☹ So patience and time for her – but she is loving and sweet a real cuddle – she is a bit chubby but I think that makes her even cuter.
